Signature Homes Ltd History

Geoff Harris (as pictured) started from a humble rented shed out the back of a printers sharpening tools. In November 1954 he sold his house to take over the rent on a run down hardware store. Now 3 generations on and over 60 years on, we are a well established family business, based in the heart of Coulsdon. We have continually expanded and specialise in Kitchen Bedroom Bathroom design & installation. These 60 plus years of experience ensure we have an expert product knowledge and outstanding understanding of working within peoples homes. Our reputation for reliability, quality and honesty have been gained by consistent & excellent service. We have one simple aim, to provide total customer satisfaction. We pride ourselves on the fact that our customers keep coming back and recommend us to their friends and families.

An excellent job (strip and rebuild bathroom, a separate shower room and repaint a two bedroom flat) by Simon, Tom and the rest of the team at Signature Homes. Not easy with a difficult neighbour (dealt with with tact and diplomacy) and problems with additional leak in flat above, but all accomplished efficiently and to the usual high standard. Thank you to Simon Harris who came to give my mother inlaw a quote for her ceiling which had fallen down. She was very shaken and worried by the incident but Simon put her at ease straightaway and made her feel confident the job would be done easily, with little mess and all would be ok.
The men who came to do the work were professional, polite, friendly and hardworking,. They finished the job in the time given. Completely cleared away all the mess and cleaned the room. The ceiling looks first rate. A very good service.i would recommend this company without hesitation.

After a bad bathroom refit we looked for a reliable company with a good after sales service.They were not the cheapest quote but we felt you get what you pay for. They started by redesigning the bathroom in a way we would never had thought of. The workmanship was excellent and we could leave the fitters alone in the house.We are very satisfied with the end result. Several months after we had a small issue with a sticking sink plug which was resolved in 2 days. Would not hesitate to use their services again.

Simon and the team at Signature Homes were excellent from the very start. Simon responded quickly to the invitation to estimate for the job, and his price came in below the competition.
Simon visited again prior to starting the work to make sure he understood what we had agreed, and to ask if we had any special requirements (early starts, finishes etc) which showed a really good customer touch and helped me feel very comfortable handing over the keys to my home.
The team took care to avoid making mess (as much as was possible!), and cleaned up well after themselves, taking a lot of care to make sure I was happy with the work and that they hadn’t missed anything.
All in all – superb. Would I use them again – absolutely.
